Paper cup story.

Assalamulaikum..

Let me tell you a story that have been told to me by my boss; of a man with a paper cup. There was once a very successful man. Very successful that bila dia pi mana pun, orang akan layan dia 1st class. He went to an event one fine evening and he was served with the best cutleries including drinking from a crystal wine glass. 

Tapi nak dijadikan cerita, his success was not for long. Dia pun masa tu dah tua. Dah nak dekat pencen. And so dia pun pencen lepas beberapa ketika selepas tu. Tapi even lepas dia pencen pun, dia still lagi pi conferences la apa la. And in one of the conferences that he attended, he joined their dinner. But things are totallly different now. Not only he ate his dinner while standing up tapi now his drinks were only served from a paper cup.

Moral of the story is, janganlah berlagak dan selesa dengan pangkat yang kita ada sekarang. And janganlah eksyen dengan layanan yang kita dapat sekarang. Mungkin layanan yang kita dapat ni hanyalah atas pangkat yang kita pegang. Esok dah takdak pangkat, jadilah macam pakcik kat atas tu. Minum dalam paper cup ja.

And for that, kita kena sedar kita nak dilayan sekarang atas pangkat kita atau atas siapa diri kita yang sebenar. You want people to respect you only because you are a somebody or you want people to respect you because you are nobody, but there's something about you?
